This is YOUR private tour of Vienna, so you choose what you would like to see. But I do understand that it is sometimes difficult to know where to start and how long a visit will take. So, here are a few inspirations to consider for your own tour:

Tour Schönbrunn

For example, Schönbrunn Palace. THE place to visit for a lot of people and certainly well worth visiting! However, there are some things to consider as the palace is not just a museum.

  • If you would like to see the highlights only, please contact me. As a licensed tour guide, I can book tickets for a special “Highlights Tour”, which are not available through the official website of Schönbrunn Palace.

    We would meet at the ticket office in the car park, collect your tickets, cross the impressive courtyard, and visit the Imperial Apartments together.

  • Would you like to explore all of the Imperial Apartments? Then we should plan at least three hours to allow enough time for the full Grand Tour and to fully appreciate the palace interiors.

  • Within four hours, we can enjoy a more relaxed visit. I can pick you up from your hotel in the city center, or we can meet at the ticket office in the palace grounds.

    In addition to visiting the Imperial Apartments, we will have time for a walk through the extensive gardens and discover the magnificent features of a Baroque garden design

Tour Belvedere

  • We can visit the Upper Belvedere, stroll through the gardens, and also see the Lower Belvedere

  • Klimt-Villa

    A charming villa surrounded by a beautiful garden, where Gustav Klimt worked during the final years of his life.

    The small exhibition focuses on Klimt’s late works and explores what happened to some of his most famous paintings in the decades after his death. A peaceful and inspiring place for art lovers.

  • Jewish Cemetery of Währing

    This historic cemetery was in use between the 1780s and 1880s and is an important site of Vienna’s Jewish heritage.
    Today, it is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers and opens to visitors once a month.

  • Schatzkammer/Imperial Treasury

    For anyone fascinated by history, this is an absolute must-see. And if you love jewels and precious gems, even more so!

    The Imperial Treasury houses the crown and insignia of the Holy Roman Empire, with history reaching back to the year 800. It offers a breathtaking journey through centuries of European power and symbolism.
